RELEASE: Auchincloss Secures $16.2 Million for Fourth District in Government Funding Bill

Washington, DC — The House and Senate have passed the annual appropriations package in a “omnibus” that included key wins for the Fourth District. Today, Congressman Auchincloss announced that the bill includes funding for all of his Community Project Funding (CPF) requests. The spending bill is slated to head to President Biden’s desk for signing in the coming days.

Today is about policy and partnerships,” said Auchincloss. “There’s an old proverb that says ‘go fast, go alone; go far, go together.’ We are going to go fast, together. We are going to invest in our health and our infrastructure so that this economy works for everyone.”

  • Manet Community Health Center Satellite Clinic in Attleboro

  • Bristol Community College’s National Offshore Wind Institute

  • Somerset Emergency Dam Improvements 

Amount of Request: $1,130,000 Amount Received: $975,000 

  • North Attleborough’s Ten-Mile River Dredging Project to Mitigate Flooding 

Amount of Request: $1,500,000 Amount Received: $1,500,000

  • New Hope New Domestic Violence Shelter 

Amount of Request: $2,000,000 Amount Received: $2,000,000 

  • City of Fall River Urban Renewal Plan Parking Lot and Facility Improvements
